TERMS:

1) The Buyer will use the kennel name Lynnspride as a prefix in the puppy’s registered name. A maximum of 30 letters and/or spaces are available for the registered name.

2) The Buyer will be responsible for any shipping and/or crate charges.

3) To the best of the Seller’s knowledge this dog is healthy and has had all the appropriate vaccinations and wormings recommended for its age. The Buyer will take the dog to a veterinarian within seven days from the date of the sale. If the dog is to be found unhealthy, or not sound, or to possess a serious congenital defect, and a veterinarian’s certificate is supplied to the Seller so stating, the Buyer may return the dog to the Seller and receive a full refund of the purchase price.

4) The Seller warrants the health of the said dog, up to the age of 26 months old. The said dog is guaranteed against hip dysplasia, except for subluxation, and elbow dysplasia, except for degenerative joint disease. This is to be determined by O.F.A. or O.V.C. between the ages of 24 and 26 months or by Penn-hip between the ages of 6 and 26 months. The eyes are guaranteed against PRA or any blinding eye defect. Should the said dog be diagnosed with any other serious inherited defect and a certificate is supplied to the Seller so stating, the Buyer will have the option of spaying or neutering the dog and the Buyer will be entitled to a replacement dog of equal or better quality as soon as one becomes available; however the Seller reserves the right to repossess the defective animal or have the dog examined by a veterinarian of the Sellers choice at the Seller’s expense. If the dog is bred or used for breeding before 2 years of age and having had the appropriate health checks done and approved, (O.F.A or O.V.C. hips and elbows, Cardiac, CERF eyes, and thyroid testing), this guarantee is void.

5) This dog is sold as a show/breeding prospect. All dogs sold in Canada will be registered and sold as Non Breeding. When the dog has achieved a CKC or AKC conformation championship or obedience CD, and after the said dog reaches two years of age, having had the appropriate health checks done and approved, (O.F.A or O.V.C. hips and elbows, Cardiac, CERF eyes, and thyroid testing) and having been determined to be of sound temperament; the Non Breeding agreement will be lifted. The Buyers will be responsible for the CKC fees. The Seller further warrants the dog against any disqualifying faults. If the dog cannot be shown due to a disqualifying fault, which will relegate it to a pet/companion, and before the dog is bred or has been used for breeding, the Seller will replace the dog with another of show quality at pet price as soon as one becomes available.

6) If the buyer finds that the dog must be sold for whatever reason, the Seller will have the first right of refusal to buy the dog back at no more than the original purchase price.

7) The Seller retains 3 stud services at no charge if the dog is a male. If the dog is a female, and a litter or portion of a litter is to be considered part or whole payment, she will be bred no later than 3 years of age, in which time the remaining payment of pup or pups will be paid.

8) The Seller makes the following recommendations:

· That this dog be treated as a household pet, given proper love and attention at all times.

· That this dog never, at any time, be chained outside, or be trained as a professional guard or attack dog.

· That this dog not be raised on a slippery surface, or be allowed to bound up and down stairs, or be allowed to jump in and out of vehicles, as these activities may cause damage to the elbows, shoulders, knees, hips, etc.

· That the dog's weight be under strict supervision until the age of two years, with the understanding that it would be far better for this dog to be kept slightly under weight since being over weight will stress his or her structure during this critical growing period.

It is understood that these recommendations and conditions are set forth for the welfare and protection of the dog, the Mastiff breed, as well as the parties involved, Buyers and Seller.
